What type of work do plasterers and cement masons perform?
Cement masons pour and finish concrete in a wide variety of applications, including roads and bridges.
Plasterers apply and finish plaster on walls and other decorative surfaces.
Trait/Qualities
Cement masons work outdoors. This work is messy, can be dirty, is strenuous and the process of pouring is fast-paced.
Both trades require an eye for detail.
Plasterers spend most of the day on their feet, on a ladder or stretching to reach certain areas. They must enjoy working with their hands.
