What type of work do members of the Bricklayers Union perform?
Bricklayers and masonry workers lay brick and stone in mortar to form components of buildings and structures such as walls, foundations, floor and pathways. Bricklayers work with brick, stone, blocks and masonry slabs.
Those who work as pointers/cleaners/caulkers (PCC) restore masonry.
Terrazzo workers install terrazzo floors, medallions, countertops and other items.
Tile layers install tile for all types of applications.
Stone and marble masons install stone and marble for various applications such as walls, floors, fireplaces, etc.
Cement masons pour and finish concrete and cement.
