C/COBCTC Endorses Bill Sperlazza for Environmental Judge

The Columbus/Central Ohio Building and Construction Trades Council announces the endorsement of Bill Sperlazza for Franklin County Municipal Court Environmental Judge.

Currently a senior assistant city attorney for the City of Columbus, Sperlazza, a Democrat, has the right background for this position.

“Bill Sperlazza has earned the endorsement of the Building Trades,” said Dorsey Hager, Executive Secretary-Treasurer of the Columbus/Central Ohio Building and Construction Trades Council. “His experience and legal expertise makes him the most experienced candidate for Environmental Court Judge.”

Sperlazza has spent the last seven years working in environmental courts, fighting injustices in order to keep neighborhoods safe.

“I know firsthand how important environmental court is to our communities, and I want to bring my passion for this courtroom to the bench,” he said.

Besides being endorsed by the C/COBCTC, Sperlazza was also endorsed by the Stonewall Democrats of Central Ohio and the Franklin County Democratic Party.

“I am beyond proud to receive the endorsement,” he said. “Hard working men and women like the members of the C/COBCTC are the people who build our communities and make them great places to work, play and raise a family.”

Affiliated members and their families are strong urged to vote Bill Sperlazza for Franklin County Municipal Court Environmental Judge in the November General Election.
