State Rep. Dr. Beth Liston Endorsed for Re-Election in 21st District by C/COBCTC

The Columbus/Central Ohio Building and Construction Trades Council proudly endorses State Rep. Dr. Beth Liston, who is running for re-election in the 21st District.

A graduate of Thomas Worthington High School, Dr. Liston completed her undergraduate degree in biochemistry at the University of Notre Dame and earned her MD and PhD at The Ohio State University. She finished her residency training in internal medicine and pediatrics at Yale New Haven Hospital.

Dr. Liston and her family now live in Dublin and she is a faculty member at OSU, as professor of clinical medicine.

During her first term, she worked to create better healthcare for Ohioans, believes in good school, responsible government and a strong economy.

“I want to fight for policies that support health, education and opportunities for all Ohioans,” she said.

“The Columbus/Central Ohio Building and Construction Trades Council provides essential training and support for a crucial part of Ohio’s workforce. I am proud to have your support, as we work together to ensure opportunity for people in our state,” she added.

The Democrat is also endorsed by the SEIU, OCSEA, Ohio AFL-CIO and the OFT.

“Dr. Beth Liston has had a busy first term at the statehouse. Her experience as a physician at Ohio State has enabled her to be a leader during the pandemic,” said Columbus/Central Ohio Building and Construction Trades Council Executive Secretary-Treasurer Dorsey Hager. “She has earned a second term and the endorsement of the building trades.”
