Hager is Keynote Speaker for Local 189 Awards Ceremony

On October 17, Columbus/Central Ohio Building and Construction Trades Council Executive Secretary-Treasurer Dorsey Hager was the keynote speaker at the 2015 Awards Banquet for Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 189.

During the banquet, members and retirees were honored for their dedication to their craft. Members and retirees received pins and service awards to commemorate their commitment to Local 189.

In his speech, Hager said, “I owe everything to the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 189. My father, because of Local 189, was able to make a great wage with good benefits. This allowed me to live and grow up in a great community, attend a good public school and go to college at The Ohio State University.”

Hager’s dad, Dorsey Hager, Sr., is a 35-year member of the Local.
