The Columbus/Central Ohio Building and Construction Trades Council is proud to endorse current State Rep. Tracy Richardson, as she seeks re-election in the 86th district.
“I am running to be a voice for the people of Ohio and the 86th District,” Richardson said. “My goal is to serve with integrity, hard work and commitment on behalf of those who trust me to represent them.”
A graduate of West Point , who was deployed in Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm, where she earned a Bronze Star, Richardson spent years working as a corporate human resources professional for a Fortune 500 company. She is presently assigned in the U.S. Army Reserves as a Military Academy Liaison Officer for the U.S. Military Academy Admissions Department.
Richardson spent nine years on Marysville City Council, before running for the 86th District House seat in 2018.
She also volunteers her time on the Union County Drug Free Coalition, Team Marysville and the Neighborhood Watch Safety Team.
To her parents, America was the land of opportunity and freedom. Serving one’s community and country was engrained into her from an early age. Growing up, she learned the spirit of service, love of God and love of country from her family, who inspired her to seek admission to West Point and to serve our nation’s military.
The Republican wants to work with her fellow legislators to help create jobs, improve the educational system, fight the opioid epidemic, protect tax dollars, protecting our rights and freedoms and defending the sanctity of life.
“I am pleased and honored to be endorsed by the exceptionally hard working men and women of the Columbus Building Trades Council,” she said. “Thank you for your confidence in me.”
“Representative Richardson is my state representative and I have a personal interest in her race,” said Columbus/Central Ohio Building and Construction Trades Council Executive Secretary-Treasurer Dorsey Hager. “In her first term, she has done a tremendous job representing her constituents and the working people of Ohio. She has earned our endorsement and deserves to be re-elected.”
