The Columbus/Central Ohio Building and Construction Trades Council is endorsing Rachael Morocco to represent District 60 in the Ohio House of Representatives.
Morocco is a hard-working professional who enjoys working with people of different backgrounds because she believes everyone deserves a voice.
Morocco’s other endorsements come from the OAPSE/AFSCME, OEC Action Fund, 314 Action Fund, Everytown for Gun Safety, Vote Mama and the AFL-CIO.
Morocco is a physician who lives in Delaware County with her husband and two young sons.
“I am a pediatrician and a mother running to help build a stronger future for our children,” Morocco said. “Receiving the C/COBCTC’s endorsement is an honor. We can work together to support hard-working families and build a stronger future for all.”
Morocco hopes for a brighter future
Dorsey Hager, Executive Secretary-Treasurer of the C/COBCTC believes Morocco is a model candidate and explained why she received the building trades council’s endorsement.
“Rachael Morocco is running for the House in a red district that is moving blue,” Hager said. “While she faces an uphill battle, I know she has a bright future in politics.”
Members of the C/COBCTC are urged to back candidates like Morocco, who champion the labor trades and tackle issues affecting these industries.
