The death of former Ohio Congressman Steve LaTourette was a blow to organized labor.
Ed “Flash” Ferenc, host of America’s Workforce Radio, discussed the passing of LaTourette on America’s longest running labor show.
LaTourette, a former Republican Congressman from Northeast Ohio, was one of the first Republican representatives to support the building trades upon joining Congress in 1994.
Dorsey Hager, Executive Secretary-Treasurer for the Columbus/Central Ohio Building and Construction Trades Council, recalled his experiences dealing with LaTourette.
The two also compared the Republican and Democratic National Conventions and discussed the presidential race shaping up between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton.
