The Columbus/Central Ohio Building and Construction Trades Council is proud to endorse Cornell R. Robertson for Franklin County Engineer.
Robertson has served as Franklin County Engineer for the past three years, with 28 total years in the engineer’s office.
He is running to retain his current seat, where his decisions directly impact members of the C/COBCTC.
“I understand the issues of working men and women and will continue to be an advocate for organized labor,” said Roberton. “Your endorsement means a great deal to me, and I appreciate what you do for skilled labor and our community.”
Robertson said the three things most important to him are his spiritual faith, honoring our country and his family.
“I truly enjoy serving all residents, citizens, constituents and motorist of Franklin County by designing, building and maintaining roads and bridges,” he added.
“Cornell Robertson is an elected who loves his job as Franklin County Engineer. He always answers the phone and is present at all of our events,” said Dorsey Hager, Executive Secretary-Treasurer of the Columbus/Central Ohio Building and Construction Trades Council. “His son Blake is an apprentice member of Ironworkers 172 and Engineer Robertson is seeing firsthand what he has known and supported – a building trades apprenticeship can put you on the direct path to the middle class.”
Roberston, a Republican, has also received endorsements from the Franklin County Republican Party and IUPDAT DC 6.
