John O’Grady is seeking reelection as Franklin County Commissioner. The Columbus/Central Ohio Building and Construction Trades Council has endorsed him due to his consistent support of the area’s building trades.
In addition to the C/COBCTC, Commissioner O’Grady has been endorsed by the AFL-CIO, AFSCME, CWA 4502 and the Baptist Ministerial Alliance. 
“Franklin County is the largest county in Ohio and one of the fastest growing counties in the country,” O’Grady said. “I believe that I am the most qualified person to help continue to guide that growth with my years of experience.”
Dorsey Hager, Executive Secretary-Treasurer of the C/COBCTC explained why O’Grady received the building trades council’s endorsement.
“Franklin County is experiencing tremendous growth in population, construction projects and development,” Hager said. “Commissioner O’Grady continues his advocacy for workers and union members in the county he serves ensuring every citizen has the opportunity to provide for themselves and their families.”
O’Grady continues to put Franklin County first
Since his election to the Franklin County Board of Commissioners in Nov. 2008, Commissioner O’Grady has been dedicated to transforming Franklin County into one of the nation’s top communities for living, visiting and doing business.
“The work we do as county commissioners has a huge impact on working families in our community,” O’Grady said. “It is important to me to know that working men and women support all that we have been doing over the years. The men and women of the trades are the epitome of Franklin County’s motto, ‘Every Resident, Every Day.’”
Members affiliated with the C/COBCTC are encouraged to support candidates like O’Grady who advocate for the labor trades and address issues that impact these industries.
