Hager detailed some of the developments, including Meta\u2019s datacenter expansions, Amazon&#8217;s $10 billion campus and other tech-related projects.<\/p>\n<p>Despite some slowdowns at Intel, Hager emphasized the project\u2019s overall positive impact, noting that 1,200 workers are currently employed at the site, earning good wages and benefits. He stressed the importance of maintaining perspective on the project\u2019s long-term benefits for the region.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere are roughly 1,200 people on site right now making great wages and benefits and providing for their families,\u201d Hager said. \u201cWe\u2019re about 35 percent of the way through.
